The Urs festival is a yearly event hosted in Ajmer, Rajasthan, India, dedicated to the remembrance of the passing of the Sufi Saint, Hazrat Moinuddin Chishty (H.A.). This festival spans six days and is distinguished by extended night-time sessions of dhikr (zikr), qawwali singing and Langer Niaz.
